Welcome to our "Low Price Guarantee" page.  Did you know this is the most visited page on our website for weddings?  Well, our low price guarantee works like this:  If you find an advertised competitor's price which is lower than ours, we'll beat it!  It's just that simple. But like anything, there is a catch.

1)  They must shoot in DVCAM, DVCPRO or BETA.  This does not mean mini-dv.  Just because someone has a 3CCD camera doesn't mean your wedding video is going to look the best.  DVCAM and BETA are professional broadcast formats.  Since 11-4 Productions does more than just weddings, our clients demand professionalism!  Thus, all of our equipment is standard Broadcast Quality.  To learn about our equipment, please click on the link to your left.

Common question:  "How will I know if they shoot on DVCAM cameras?"

Answer:  If they shoot in DVCAM they will advertise doing so. If not just ask them what format they use, some low end  would be mini-dv, digital-8 and SVHS.  High end formats would include DVCAM, DVCPRO and BETA. Just because it's digital doesn't mean it's Broadcast Quality, and it doesn't mean your video will look its best.

Common question:  "What is 'Broadcast Quality'?"

Answer: Broadcast Quality is the industry standard used for television production.  ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, etc. all use Broadcast Quality formats.  For the longest time it was BETA (developed by SONY in the late 70's, early 80's).  However, with technology advancing many broadcasters have switched to the more modern DVCAM and now Digi-BETA (both developed by SONY) for their broadcast recordings.  If you'd like more information, please email us at info@11-4productions.com

Common question: "What is DVCAM? Why do you believe it is a better format to shoot in?"

Answer:  In basic terms, DVCAM shooting locks the audio with the picture. With normal mini-dv or professional dv the audio is not locked with the picture, enabling the audio and picture to become out of sync.  What that means is when you are talking your lips may be moving and the sound won't match your lips.  With DVCAM recording that doesn't happen.  To learn even more about DVCAM please click here. You will be redirected to another website explaining the benefits of DVCAM and why when we were purchasing our equipment we decided to purchase Sony products.

2)  The wedding company must have an advertised price.  All this means is that you send us the link or a copy of their ad so we can verify it and beat their price!

3)  The wedding company must be a local company.  They must be within 100 miles of Farmington Hills, Michigan or 100 miles of Orlando, Florida.

Well, I hope this answers all of your questions about our "Low Price Guarantee."  If you have anymore questions, please contact us via email at info@11-4productions.com or call us at (734) 657-3141 or (734) 678-7163
